N’iceCream is a young, dynamic and innovative company, specializing in freshly-made organic gelato and sorbet.

It is our pride and trademark to produce the best and freshest creamy gelato and sorbet every morning year round.

N’iceCream was founded during the summer of 2008 and opened its doors to the very first store, in Venice, CA during the fall of 2008. The second store opened its doors during the fall of 2009.

We believe that the secret to our success so far, is that we love what we do, and do it well. Our gelato and sorbet is as fresh as you can get it, and is never more than 12 hours old, at any point in time during the day. All of our gelato and sorbet is made on premise.

At N’iceCream we keep moving forward, to develop new exciting flavors and new exciting concepts, you can design your own milkshake, smoothie, try some of our delicious home made toppings, or simply enjoy the gelato and sorbet, as it is.

The story
N’iceCream was founded by Laura Nielsen and Christian Toxboe. They moved from Denmark during the spring of 2008 with the sole purpose of opening up a gelato and sorbet store in LA. They quickly fell in love with the Venice community, and decided that Abbot Kinney blvd. With its many grassroots organizations, its love for individualism and quirkiness, would be the perfect location. After a summer of learning the ropes of the new American market, they opened up during the fall of 2008.

The neighborhood quickly embraced the new little gelato store, and N’iceCream was so successful in its first year of business, that a new small location on the Venice Boardwalk was opened less than a year after the first store.

Laura and Christian are looking forward to many good years in Venice, and love their new home away from home.
